'Hotel, sweet hotel' is a photographic project and a taxonomic collection of interiors of rooms and hotels dependencies, developed during almost two decades in more than sixty countries all along the five continents. It is a series that reflects on some anthropological aspects of travel such as loneliness, the complicity of the traveler with a space that becomes a home or temporary refuge, the phenomenon of contemporary neo-nomadism and the relationship of the guest with the 'outside world' through technology. Swinging at the inside/outside polarity, either through the physical frame of the window, either through the virtual window of the TV, and with a subtle sense of irony, the great variety and eclecticism of the rooms adresses us towards a certain sociology of the trip. This information can be drawed as well from the hotel's own aesthetic, sometimes aseptic, sometimes excessive.
